THE PAPER CORD

The thread or paper cord is made in Japan with 100% recycled paper from offices. It does not contain cellulose and is biodegradable.

It is manufactured in various sizes to be used in different sectors such as agriculture, packaging, seat weaving and other furnitures.

The paper cord of 3 mm in natural color is composed of a sheet of turned paper of 8.6 cm and the black one by 12.5 cm both with a grammage of 42g/m2, which makes them very resistant and durable.

Known as Fiber Rush it is generally used to replace the bulrush braided rope due to the shortaging and high cost of it. Perfect for making seat weaving or stools and for weaves in general. Suitable to be worked with any technique that supports the use of round cape, provides a soft touch and a natural appearance that makes it ideal to be used in restoration projects.

Unlike the danish paper cord, our paper cord is a single cord and is used in countries such as Japan, USA, England and France with excellent results for the manufacture of auxiliary furniture and infinities possibilities in craft projects and decoration.
